Hello welcome!

This is a mirror for my BloodOrchid fics and comics, as Ao3 is down for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately I did do a little minor editing on Ao3 after posting and then did not back that up, so these are ever so slightly less edited copies. I'll update them to the latest edits as soon as there is any access to the site.

BloodOrchid? What is that?

We know three things about the Orchid Killer—they were a serial killer whose calling card was orchids, Drift was actively working on the case, and they left blue orchids for her on her doorstep as a warning.

Or, perhaps, as a gift?

Which is to say, this is a detective x serial killer vampire yuri series xoxo

To elaborate futher, there is a vampire roleplay series on YouTube utilising Minecraft as its medium named Vampires SMP (VSMP). One of the characters in that series is detective Drift, who ran away to Oakhurst after finding blue orchids on her doorstep while she was investigating a series of murders known as the Orchid Killings.

You don't necessarily need to watch VSMP to follow the story I am telling here—I would say this is to VSMP what The Other Bennet Sister is to Pride and Prejudice. Which is to say, it is a standalone, sequel story that expands upon Drift's relationship with the Orchid Killer after she returns from Oakhurst as a vampire. However, Drift's videos are absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend her PoV, and watching it will make the story richer!

Who are you?
